Run over 4 days, the Inflatable Rescue Boat Crew (IRBC) Camp is a very fun and practical award to complete. The IRB camp will predominately be run at Woolamai Beach SLSC however participants can expect to train at neighboring beaches/clubs.

The Surf Life Saving Surf Rescue Certificate is the base level of award for patrolling members. This lifesaving award requires candidates to participate as a team member in a surf lifesaving service.

Our Bronze Medallion Camp course provides participants with the skills and knowledge of patrolling and surf awareness in order to be able to participate in lifesaving operations. Bronze Camp is a week long course where candidates stay at Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club learning first aid and surf awareness skills. The Bronze Medallion Award is the minimum standard to become a qualified lifesaver.
