Are you interested in becoming a Surf Lifesaver on one of Victoria’s most highly iconic beaches? Woolamai Beach SLSC offers a range of activities, whether you are patrolling our beaches and participating in lifesaving operations, or gaining new awards and making life long friendships get involved this summer by joining our club!

Have you ever dreamt about being a Surf Lifesaver? Surf Lifesaving has many opportunities and benefits. You can lead a fit and healthy lifestyle, develop surf and aquatic safety skills, first aid and emergency care skills, make new friends, compete in surf sports, and give something back to the community.  You may also help save someone’s life one day!

Thanks to the many volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to training, patrolling and volunteering at Woolamai Beach SLSC, we are able to keep Victorian’s safe on our beaches.

New Members

To Join as a new member.

Go to sls.com.au/join and follow the prompts.

  • Do not not use your email as the username.

    Important to note that this username is assigned to your Surf Life Saving Australia member account and is how you will enrol in new courses and renew you membership each season. It also cannot be changed.

  • As a BRAND NEW MEMBER (to not only Woolamai but any Life Saving Club Australia wide) ensure you click the “join the club” button

  • Be sure to select “Woolamai Beach”.

  • At this point you will be asked if you are Individual signing up, a parent/guardian signing up family, or parent/guardian signing up child only.

If you selected the option to join as a family, you will see an additional field to give your family group a name, using your surname is fine.

Follow the prompts and enter the details requested (i.e. personal/ contact details).

If you are joining as a family, the personal details provided first will be for the primary member of this group, and that person must be 18 years old and over.

Your other family members (who are also joining for the first time) can be added to your family group by clicking “Add Family Member” icon at the bottom right of the screen. Family members that are current members of a club, can be added at a later stage.

Joining Fee

Choose the appropriate option noting If you are participating in our Nippers program or enrolled in one of our Bronze Medallion or SRC courses, your club membership fee is included in your course fee. Choose Nipper, Nipper Parent or Bronze/ SRC Camp $0.

If becoming a social member, make payment.

Your application has now been submitted, waiting approval from our membership officer.
