Bronze Medallion Camp

“Gain your Bronze Medallion, make lifelong friendships, and serve our community. Learn critical skills in lifesaving, surf awareness, first aid, health, fitness, leadership, and contribute to our community. ”

Our Bronze Medallion Camp course provides participants with the skills and knowledge of patrolling and surf awareness in order to be able to participate in lifesaving operations. Bronze Camp is a week long course where candidates stay at Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club learning first aid and surf awareness skills. The Bronze Medallion Award is the minimum standard to become a qualified lifesaver.

After this course, you can go on to qualify to pilot a rescue jetski, inflatable rescue boats, rescue helicopter crew, professional lifeguard, specialist first aid, rescue coordination and more! Compete around Australia in surf swimming, board and ski paddling, beach running and surf boat rowing.
