“Our hugely popular summer intensive program teaches children aged 6–13 years surf education, life saving skills, and fitness, in a safe and fun environment”
Welcome to Nippers 2025/26
We hope you and your family had a happy and safe Christmas. The Nippers Committee and club volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes, and with bump-in now complete, we’re officially ready to kick off the 2025/26 Nippers season.
The 2025/26 season is shaping up to be another big one, with more than 420 Nippers taking part. A very warm welcome to all the families joining us for the first time this season, and welcome back to our returning families — it’s great to have you back on the beach.
A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time for bump-in today, and to those who have committed to volunteer roles over the coming weeks. Your support is what makes Nippers possible.
The BoM’s 7 day forecast is looking positive, so don’t forget your sun protection and to slip, slop, slap!

Participant information
The 2025/26 participant information guide was sent out to participating families earlier this month. It is the guide to all things Nippers and has been prepared to help participating families get the most out of the program. If you didn’t receive it or are curious to know more about Nippers, it can be downloaded here.
Key information from the guide, along with some frequently asked questions, can also be found on the participant information and 2025/26 program calendar webpages.
Communication during the program
The Wooli Nippers Facebook Group is the main way we will communicate with parents and guardians throughout the program (including raffle draw results). You can find it by searching Facebook groups for “Woolamai Beach SLSC Nippers”. Remember to answer the questions to be approved.
This year, we have created a separate Facebook Group to share photos from the Program “Woolamai Nippers 25/26”. This group is only open to parents and guardians of children participating in the 25/26 program.
The Club is using the Team Stack App to communicate with Age Managers, Assistant Age Managers, JAMS and Water Safety. Further details are available on the participant information webpage.
The Nippers Raffle
The Nippers Raffle is one of our major fundraising activities, and this year there’s over $3,500 worth of prizes up for grabs. Raffle winners will be drawn each Nippers session and contacted via text message. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets during registration — additional tickets can be purchased from the Cleeland Bight Beach admin tent during the course of the program.
A huge thank you to our generous raffle prize donors. We encourage families to support the local businesses that have kindly supported this important fundraising effort.
More to come…
Club merch
Club merch is a great way to show your support for Woolamai Beach SLSC. The merch tent will once again be located on Cleeland Beach during the Nippers program. Sales will be electronic only.
Merchandise is also available at larger club events and by appointment (email merchandise@woolamaibeach.asn.au).
