+ Course Details

After 3 long years the Woolamai SEALs Program is making a comeback in 2023!

The SEALs program is an integrated and structured pathway for personal and professional development and is aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of a group of members who are committed and eager to become elite patrollers and leaders of the club.

Program Structure: Program will consist of Six distinct components.

  • Session 1 (May): Personal Development/ SSV / Projects
  • Session 2 (June): Fitness / Skills / Personal Goals
  • Session 3 (July): LSV Structure
  • Session 4 (August): Team Work / Leadership / SMPC
  • Session 5 (September): SMAR / Island Knowledge / Scenarios
  • Session 6 (October): TBC

+ Pre-requisites

  • You must be a current financial member of Woolamai Beach SLSC
  • You must be at least 17 years of age on the date of final assessment
  • You must have completed 2 seasons of patrolling
  • Endorsed by your Patrol Captain
  • Hold the following SLSA awards:
    • Bronze Medallion

+ Qualifications

  • SLSA Award: Silver Medallion Aquatic Rescue (SMAR)
  • SLSA Award: Silver Medallion Patrol Captain (SMPC)
  • SLSA Award: Side-By-Side Vehicle (SSV)
