Welcome to Nippers Season 2025/26
Welcome to Wooli Nippers, Season 2025/26 and the first instalment of the Wooli Nipper News, the newsletter of the Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) Nippers Program. Nippers Season 2025/26
The 2025/26 program will run from Sunday 28 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026 inclusive, with a rest day on New Year’s Day (Thursday 1 January 2026).
We will once again be running our Under 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 programs at Cleeland Bight and the Under 12 and 13 programs at Smiths Beach. Please note, Nippers’ age groups are based on a 30 September qualification date. For example, for a child to participate in the Under 6 age group, they must have turned 5 on or before 30 September in the year of participation.
Registrations will open in October—further information on Season 2025/26, including session times and registration, will be communicated in September. Sign up to the Wooli Nippers email list to stay informed!

Volunteers
Did you know that Nippers is run by volunteers? We are looking for passionate parents to join the Nippers Committee to ensure a fun, successful 2025/26 season!
Being part of the Nippers Committee is your chance to be part of something special - help us deliver an amazing program which teaches kids about the beach, surf, teamwork and confidence - all while having heaps of fun.
No experience needed - just a positive attitude and willingness to get involved. If you have a communications, website or tech background, that would be a bonus.

Calling All Young Designers - Nippers merch design inspiration
In the lead-up to season 2025/26, we're looking to redesign the nippers' hoodies. If your child is interested in contributing their ideas, we would love to hear from them.
Guidelines - designs must use or reference the Woolamai penguin, not use too many colours and reflect our Nippers program.
Inspirations must be received by Sunday, 7 September 2025 and should be emailed to juniordevelopment@woolamaibeach.asn.au.
Nippers Boards For Sale
Looking to kickstart your Nipper’s 2025/26 season? Why not get them on one of these!
6 x used 11 ft fibreglass Malibu boards (dark green) - $400 each
Only used for one competition season
Each board comes with a bag. Note, there are some rips in the bags.
2 x new 11 ft fibreglass Malibu boards (teal/light blue) - $600 each
The boards are missing their fins. These will need to be purchased by the new owners!
These boards do not have bags
